At Grow Pescadero, we believe that food is only the beginning.

Our vision is to create a place where every family knows they will always find support, hope, and a community ready to help in the hardest moments.

With your support, we are taking the first steps to build Centro Comunitario Grow — a place that will bring together a food bank, community gardens, an outdoor community kitchen, and educational programs focused on nutrition, regenerative agriculture, and the wellbeing of families.

We want this center to become the heart of Pescadero: a place where neighbors support neighbors, and no family has to face need alone.

This project will be much more than a building.

We imagine a living space, surrounded by gardens that grow fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs. A place where children learn where food comes from, where families grow together, where volunteers work shoulder to shoulder, and where every person is welcomed with respect, warmth, and dignity.

As this dream grows, we will build an outdoor community kitchen where women from our community, alongside volunteers and local chefs, can prepare healthy meals using fresh produce and rescued food. Together we can offer nutritious meals for children, elders, and families — while preserving our culinary traditions and strengthening our sense of community.

Our dream is to create a place where people don’t only receive help, but also find opportunities to learn, participate, and contribute. A place where solidarity, education, sustainability, and hope can flourish.
